Our mission is to bring about a Green Britain

We focus on the three areas of life that make up 80% of everybody’s personal (and every organisation’s) carbon footprint: Energy, Transport and Food - how we power ourselves, how we travel and what we eat... and our fourth pillar is making room for nature. We provide data, insight and information to enable the changes that need to be made - in pursuit of a truly green Britain.

Who we are

Established in 2012, the Green Britain Foundation exists to fulfil the charitable priorities of philanthropist, environmentalist and advocate for a sustainable Britain, Dale Vince.

The Green Britain Foundation is funding numerous initiatives in education, sport, business, and animal rights - all with the aim of encouraging and empowering people to live more sustainably. The Foundation also funds research and analysis, legal challenges, investigations and re-wilding programmes.

Our vision

Our priorities

The work of the Green Britain Foundation focuses on a number of priorities which are rooted in our commitments to nature, energy, transport and food to create a greener Britain. We are so proud of our work and what we are achieving in partnership with others who share our vision.
