Dr Dale Vince OBE - Trustee

With over 25 years as a green entrepreneur, Dale Vince launched Ecotricity, the world’s first green energy company back in 1995. Today, it powers more than 200,000 homes and businesses across the UK with renewable energy from the wind and sun – and recently sold the Electric Highway, Europe’s first electric vehicle charging network. Dale also owns Devil’s Kitchen, which makes vegan school dinners, and his latest business, Skydiamond – creating lab grown diamonds with renewable energy. His work focuses on three key areas – energy, transport and food – collectively responsible for 80% of our own carbon emissions.

He is Chairman and owner of Forest Green Rovers - recognised by FIFA as the “world’s greenest football club” and became a United Nations Climate Champion in 2018. He launched his first book, Manifesto in 2020, and is Executive Producer of the Netflix Original documentary, Seaspiracy.

Helen Taylor - Trustee

Helen is an environmental leader who helps businesses and charities turn ambition into meaningful action. A Food Technologist turned environmentalist, she combines strong project management skills with a talent for connecting people, ideas, and purpose. 

She has held senior leadership roles across charity governance, fundraising, partnerships, campaigns, and events, and previously served as CEO of Forest Green Rovers FC - recognised by FIFA as the world’s greenest football club - making her one of the first female CEOs in professional football. 

Helen founded One Blue Marble in 2018 and now leads the Green Britain Foundation, overseeing its education, community, and land and sea stewardship programmes. She also serves as a director for Catalyse Change – helping empower young women to shape meaningful careers in sustainability. 

Dahlia Nahome

Dahlia Nahome - Trustee

Dahlia has nearly 30 year’s worth of experience as a campaigning director & team leader who knows how to get-things-done, often navigating untrodden paths.

Effective and confident relationship-builder, she has worked with the United Nations, International NGO’s, Jamie Oliver Food Foundation and corporate brands directing & producing high level creative narratives and events to raise awareness and action for a healthy planet and people - activated in Davos, Cannes, The Global Climate Action Summit and at the United Nations General Assembly.

Dahlia has been working with Dale for over five years, starting her time within Ecotricity New Ventures launching Skydiamond - diamonds made from atmospheric carbon - into the luxury & innovation space.

She is currently, Dale’s Chief of Staff working with him on his mission to create a greener Britain.

Kirsty Marwaha

Kirsty Marwaha

Kirsty brings 15 years of governance experience to the table having worked in a company secretarial and project management capacity in the financial services sector and at a large charitable Foundation.

An effective do-er and administrator with an insatiable curiosity, Kirsty covers the finance, operations and logistics side of things and supports Helen Taylor with the charity's governance.

Kirsty started working for the Green Britain Group (also founded by Dale Vince) at the start of 2023 where she was looking after operations at Skydiamond and she now also supports Dale's Campaign Team which endeavours to create a Greener Britain by raising public awareness about the issues that really matter.

Rupert Evelyn

Rupert Evelyn is a cutting-edge communications specialist, acknowledged for driving improvements in animal welfare, illuminating environmental and ecological realities, and for championing social justice and human rights issues.

He is an accredited journalist, recognised for increasing public awareness, transforming attitudes and for applying a laser-sharp focus on delivering considerable impact for the Green Britain Foundation.

Chris Perkins

Chris Perkins

Chris's work on biomass energy and community energy independence brought him to Ecotricity over 10 years ago. He worked on the Planning team and on carbon sequestration projects before joining the Foundation where he is now the Land Manager. He worked in native woodland management and rural development for over 20 years including being Project Manager for a native woodlands charity in Central Scotland, running a native woodland management consultancy and a Forestry and Rural Development project, and several EU funded biomass energy projects for Highland Birchwoods in the Scottish Highlands.

His experience of forestry, land and habitat management as well as grant getting and Geographic Information Systems (GIS) supports the decision making of the GBF team to make sometimes radical decisions to restore nature.
