The Ministry of Eco Education (MEE) recently brought together sixty of the most enthusiastic and inspiring eco educators from across the UK for a celebration of sustainability in education. The event recognised the dedication of teachers who are embedding environmental learning across the curriculum and helping young people understand their role in shaping a greener future.

Invited teachers received a green ticket and a plant-powered treat as part of their invitation to the celebration, which took place at Lush’s studio space in Soho, London. The event celebrated the achievements of schools and educators within the MEE network and the growing reach of sustainability education across Britain.

The line-up included Dr Adam Levy (Climate Adam), who gave an engaging talk to teachers, poet Molly Naylor, climate comedian Dr Matt Winning, and folk musician Beans on Toast, each offering their own perspective on creativity and climate action. Dale Vince shared his vision for a green future and congratulated teachers on their ongoing contribution to environmental education.

The evening was captured in a live illustration by Beka H, providing a vibrant visual summary of the discussions and energy in the room.

The Ministry of Eco Education continues to grow as a national movement supporting teachers with free, high-quality sustainability resources and training. Through events like this, it aims to build a community of educators equipped to make sustainability part of everyday learning; empowering the next generation to take informed, positive action for the planet.
